Internal Client Video
Fossil needed help steering their course back to a brand with character. Back to a brand with a pinch of vintage and an eye for an anything goes carefree spirit. They challenged us to find a way to bring their quirky ol’ selves back to the forefront with an updated makeover that feels fashion relevant.
We started out by creating a video collage of what we envisioned the brand could become. We sent this to Fossil to capture their imagination and get them excited about positioning their brand around curiosity.
We created a suite of stop motion videos to show off the new product as well as the brand personality.
To set the tone for how we envisioned the brand could look and feel we pulled imagery from the great photographer Stephanie Gonot.
The next pages show collaboration ideas we proposed to Fossil.
Curious products should be paired with curious people.
Fossil + Matisse Estate = Gifting paper
“When I got tired of paint on canvas I decided to paint with scissors.”
Fossil + David Shrigley = Fanny Pack
“One should always raise an eyebrow when a person is spotted wearing a fanny pack.”
Fossil + Quentin Jones = Floral Shades
“Curiosity is what drives my fashion sensibility. You can never go wrong adding a pair of shades to the mix.”
Mother's Day Catalogue
We proposed that our curious collaborators take over every aspect of the brand experience.
For Mother's Day Quentin Jones takes over Fossil's product catalogue using the title from P.D. Eastman's "Are You My Mother?"
